Requirements

  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, donors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor access points and help maintain an orderly environment within a healthcare services location.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
  • Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
