As a Security Officer Armed - Day Shift in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and/or foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Security License is required in Texas only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, exterior areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, high-traffic areas, and merchandise zones for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential loss prevention concerns, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Maintain readiness to perform armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site requirements, using sound judgment and professionalism during customer interactions and incident response.
