As a Security Officer Armed Response in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in an educational setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Requirements

  • Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Have supervisory experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
  • Possess at least five years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate campus personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site-specific procedures; assist with directing visitors and responding to requests for assistance.
  • Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting procedures.
