Requirements

Minimum five years law enforcement, corrections or active military armed experience.
Must currently own a full-size Glock or Smith & Wesson in either 9mm or .40 caliber or Sig Sauer, Beretta, CZ-USA, etc.
Firearm must be full size (minimum 4.25" barrel length) and CT compliant magazine where it doesn't hold more than 10 rounds.
High School Diploma
CT Guard Card
State Armed Carry Permit
CT Blue Card

Responsibilities

Provide armed security services for locations in the Hartford Area.

Benefits

Guaranteed wage increases each year (2025–2028) tied to the Connecticut Standard Wage Act.
Minimum 4 hours’ pay if called in or if a scheduled shift is cancelled without notice.
Overtime after 40 hours/week at time-and-a-half.
At least 1 day off per week.
No more than 16 hours in a 24-hour period (except extreme circumstances).
Paid 30-minute lunch where practicable; unpaid if fully relieved.
Right to sit at reasonable intervals on standing posts.
