About The Position
City Security Services is seeking qualified security professionals for transit-based assignments. Transit Security Officers are responsible for protecting facilities and supporting safe operations through patrol, monitoring, access control, emergency response, and reporting.
Requirements
- 21+ years of age.
- Active Level 3 certification.
- Guard license in hand.
- Active baton and OC certifications.
- Valid driver's license.
- Clean three-year driving record.
- Basic technical application skills.
- Successful completion of PRT.
- Successful completion of 24-hour training.
- Approved education/experience combination.
- TXDPS Lic#: C11614301
Responsibilities
- Perform assigned security posts.
- Conduct regular facility patrols.
- Monitor entrances and designated areas.
- Observe and report suspicious activity.
- Respond to security incidents.
- Respond to fire and burglary alarms.
- Assist with medical emergencies.
- Request emergency assistance.
- Monitor visitors.
- Report hazards and maintenance issues.
- Respond to unauthorized access.
- Maintain security documentation.
- Follow all assigned orders and procedures.
