You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
Have customer service experience, preferred.
Have access control or badge experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, incident, and patrol activity in accordance with site requirements.
Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and perform duties in compliance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies.
