About The Position

As a Armed Security Officer Vehicle Patrol in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • An armed guard card/license is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, riders, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transit location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit platforms, parking areas, administrative buildings, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, unattended items, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support crowd management, public interaction, and incident response during peak travel periods, service disruptions, and/or special events while following post orders and applicable use-of-force guidelines.
