About The Position

As a Armed Security Officer Site Patrol in Adelanto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

Possess an armed guard card or license.
Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
Possess a California weapons permit with a 9mm caliber endorsement.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, maintaining awareness of site-specific requirements and applicable armed post procedures.
