As a Security Officer - Armed Roving Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A Level III Armed Guard Card is required for Texas only.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy retail location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a visible armed presence.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and document security-related incidents, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site requirements.
Work closely with store leadership, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders when needed to support incident response and daily operations.
