About The Position

As a Armed Security Officer - Rover in Parker, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

• Have 1 or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Serve in an armed post in accordance with site rules and Allied Universal protocols, maintaining professional interaction with employees, visitors, and/or members of the public.
• Monitor access points and help to enforce location rules by verifying credentials, observing for suspicious activity, and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or law enforcement when needed.
