About The Position

The Security Officer Armed Recruit role is a role designated for newly hired Security Officers while preparing for successful transition to an Armed Officer role. During the transition period of 120 days all training and required certifications will be completed to allow them to progress to an Armed Security Officer role. The primary function of this transitional role is to further develop the necessary skills, training, and certifications required to carry a weapon and function as a fully Armed Security Officer.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
State DMV Motor Vehicle Record
Current Valid Driver’s license
Pass pre-employment screening process, including a fitness assessment and psychological evaluation.
Successfully obtain job-specific certifications within 120 days of employment.

1 year of security, military or police experience

Responsibilities

Complete all required training and certifications within 120 days to transition to an Armed Security Officer role.

Pass an annual fitness assessment.
Undergo psychological evaluations every 3 years.
