As a Armed Security Officer - Protection Patrol in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and communicate professionally with visitors and staff. Requirements

Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government facility.
Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following applicable site procedures and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, courtyards, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Prepare clear and accurate reports, maintain required documentation, and coordinate with Allied Universal leadership and local emergency responders when needed.
