Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required for Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, retail location policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities while maintaining a professional presence in assigned areas.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related activities, observations, and/or unusual conditions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, entrances, exits, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter theft, trespassing, and/or other unwanted activity.
• Monitor customer and employee activity for security-related concerns, assist with access control and restricted areas, and report policy violations, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior to local management and law enforcement when appropriate.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with post orders, remain prepared to respond to high-risk situations, and support de-escalation efforts during customer service and security-related interactions.
