As a Security Officer Armed Perimeter Patrol in Killeen, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, patient, and staff access in accordance with facility policies, escalating unusual activity and/or access concerns as appropriate.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
