As an Armed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • An Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing location.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support site operations.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, vehicle, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate escalation and reporting protocols.
  • Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs while maintaining professional communication with site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
