Requirements

Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

An Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing location.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support site operations.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, vehicle, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate escalation and reporting protocols.
Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs while maintaining professional communication with site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
