Join Allied Universal at a government location as an armed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication. Requirements

• Be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Patrol assigned government facilities and surrounding perimeter on foot and/or by vehicle, completing regular and random rounds as required by the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate contacts and requesting law enforcement and/or medical support when needed.
• Carry and maintain issued equipment in accordance with post orders and applicable regulations, helping to deter prohibited activity and/or unauthorized access.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity in written reports and logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and location representatives.
