Requirements

Have 6 months or more of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while maintaining an armed presence as required by the post.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Document incidents, patrol activity, and observations in required reports and communicate clearly with staff, visitors, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders when needed.
