Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess 4 or more years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report suspicious behavior, disturbances, and/or policy violations in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Support opening, closing, and high-value transport or delivery activities as directed, while maintaining a professional presence and following all armed post requirements.
