As an Armed Security Officer, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols at a retail distribution location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
