As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Manson, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government corrections location. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and communicate professionally with staff and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license and offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional service through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a caring culture that puts people first.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, residents, visitors, and/or other authorized personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a correctional location.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and parking areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access to controlled areas, verify credentials, and document the entry and exit of authorized personnel, visitors, vehicles, and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and notification protocols.
Prepare clear and accurate reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate observations, incidents, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
