As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol in Cabot, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Possess 3+ years' combined law enforcement/military/security experience or a college degree.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and emergency responders while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities in a healthcare environment.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and coordinating with appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as needed, and report suspicious activity or hazards to site leadership.
  • Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, maintain required documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
