As a Armed Security Officer - Medical in Tucson, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Security Professional in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and support staff, patients, and visitors with exceptional customer service. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including situations involving patients or visitors.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and concerns to appropriate personnel in accordance with established procedures.
