As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government law enforcement location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
  • Possess a college degree.
  • Have at least two years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
  • Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government law enforcement location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate on-site personnel and/or emergency responders.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and responses.
