About The Position

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol in Fort Worth, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Baton Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and/or critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the building, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Carry authorized armed post equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies and post instructions, maintaining professional presence and readiness for assigned security-related duties.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and/or operational spaces, helping to support access control procedures and reporting maintenance, hazard, and/or policy-related issues to appropriate personnel.
