Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a financial institution, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will control access, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and document key activity using computer or tablet tools. Requirements

Possess an armed guard card/license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control/badge experience is preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Perform armed patrol duties in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific post orders while maintaining a professional presence with employees, customers, and visitors.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including potential robbery alarms, disputes, trespassing, and other security-related concerns.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
Monitor access points, observe for unusual activity, and promptly document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance concerns per site policy.
