As a Armed Security Officer Field Patrol in Peoria, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • Possess 1 or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
  • Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying identification, observing activity, and following post orders for restricted or controlled areas.
  • Support site personnel and first responders during emergencies, alarms, evacuations, and/or other unusual events while maintaining professionalism and clear communication.
