This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to identify unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access activity and help to enforce site-specific entry and exit procedures for employees, guests, vendors, and deliveries, while maintaining a professional presence.
• Carry authorized defensive equipment in accordance with post orders, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policy, and help to support preparedness for high-value environments through visible presence and timely reporting.
