As a Security Officer Armed Part Time Patrol with Active Clearance in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will support controlled access activities, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and uphold Allied Universal’s values through integrity, teamwork, reliability, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Hold an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, unusual conditions, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in required reports.
