In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have 5 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a defense-related location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Maintain an armed presence in accordance with post orders and applicable regulations, controlling access points and verifying credentials for employees, contractors, and authorized visitors.
• Support reporting and compliance activities by completing required logs, incident reports, and shift communications related to security-related operations.
