About The Position
Elite Security & Staffing is actively expanding its elite armed division and seeking highly professional, dependable Armed Security Officers ready to work prestigious assignments throughout San Diego County. All work will be based on part-time events and assignments. If you already hold a BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit, we want to connect with you. Work in dynamic, high-visibility environments, including major concerts and entertainment venues, professional and collegiate sporting events, VIP and executive escort details, corporate and private security operations, and exclusive special events across Southern California.
Requirements
- Valid California Guard Card & BSIS 32 hr. training.
- BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit.
Nice To Haves
- California CCW Permit.
- Military and/or law enforcement background.
- Prior experience in executive protection or high-risk environments.
- Professional appearance and command presence.
- High level of situational awareness.
- Strong communication and report-writing skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong and visible security presence.
- Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols.
- Control and monitor access points and restricted areas.
- Verify credentials of personnel and visitors.
- Respond immediately to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies.
- Document incidents with clear, accurate reporting via Guardspro app.
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders, when needed.
- Monitor surveillance systems and security technology, when assigned.
- Support crowd control and public safety at events.
- Apply de-escalation techniques to resolve conflicts professionally.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining authority.
