You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or customers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and emergency response actions appropriate for a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with local law enforcement and/or site contacts when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including the exterior perimeter, parking areas, lobby spaces, and other assigned zones, helping to deter unauthorized activity and unusual behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas, verifying credentials, monitoring visitor activity, and reporting suspicious conditions, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns.
  • Support opening, closing, and after-hours coverage by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and assisting with response to disturbances, emergencies, and other security-related incidents.
