About The Position

Premier Protective Security (PPS) is seeking OPOTA Certified Armed Security Guards for full-time and part-time positions in Vandalia, OH. The Security Officer role is crucial in maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises, patrolling locations, and preserving order through the enforcement of regulations. Requirements

Must be 21+ years of age for Armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
Must have OPOTA Certification.
Must have a valid Driver's License.
Personal Firearm required (9mm, .45 caliber, semi-auto).
Must have at least 2 years of Security experience.
Must be able to stand and/or walk for the entire shift.
Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
Applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
Ability to commute/relocate to Vandalia, OH.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring and patrolling premises.
Preserve order and enforce regulations and directives for client sites concerning personnel, visitors, and the area.
Provide customer service and information to clients' employees and customers.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
See, hear, and evaluate potential risks or incidents on customer premises.
