Premier Protective Security (PPS) is seeking an OPOTA Certified Armed Security Guard for our location in Dayton, OH. This role involves safeguarding clients in various industries, including Convenience Store truck stops, Travel Centers, Warehouses, and Truck yards.

Requirements

Must be 21+ years of age for Armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience (experience required only for Armed Roles).
Must have OPOTA Certification.
Must have a valid Driver's License.
Personal Firearm required (9mm, .45 caliber, semi-auto).
Must have at least 2 years of Armed Security experience.
Must be able to stand and/or walk for entire shift.
Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
Applicants will be subject to a drug screen.

Responsibilities

Help maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring and patrolling premises.
Preserve order by enforcing regulations and directives for client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
Provide customer service and information to clients' employees and customers.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
Be vigilant, attentive, and aware of potential risks or incidents.
