About The Position

Premier Protective Security (PPS) is seeking Armed Level 3 Commissioned Security Guards in San Antonio, TX. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring and safeguarding premises, including patrolling various locations. They preserve order by enforcing regulations and directives for client sites concerning personnel, visitors, and the area. Security Officers may also provide customer service and information to clients' employees and customers. The company operates in 48 states and services large companies across the United States, playing an essential role for clients and society.

Requirements

• Must currently be licensed as an Armed Level 3 Security Guard in Texas.
• Must have a clean Driver's License and insurance.
• Must be able to stand and walk foot patrol for long periods of time.
• Must own a personal firearm to carry on the job.
• Must be at least 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience (experience required only for Armed Roles).
• Ability to obtain security certification according to the State of TX.
• Ability to pass drug screen.
• Ability to pass background check.
• E-Verification Approval.
• Completion of on-boarding process.
• Approval and interview with assigned site manager.
• Customer service: 1 year (Required)
• ARMED Security License (State of Texas) (Required)

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring and safeguarding the premises.
• Patrol a variety of locations, including businesses and perimeters.
• Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
• Provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
