Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and offers an opportunity to demonstrate integrity, reliability, teamwork, and a people-first approach while helping protect public facilities and those who use them.

Requirements

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government buildings, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations through established channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, site requirements, and applicable regulations.
