Armed Security - Driver/Messenger
About The Position
GardaWorld provides cash-management solutions throughout the cash supply chain, including secured transportation, cash management, cash vault processing, forecasting, ATM, and cash recycler services. It operates an extensive armored-vehicle fleet and processes, manages, and moves over $8 billion in cash every day while providing 24/7 client support and logistical expertise. The Armed Security - Driver/Messenger is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of valuables. The role involves interacting professionally with customers, issuing and receiving confirmation receipts to verify transfers, and following stringent driver-safety practices in all weather conditions. Employees must remain vigilant to help protect customers, colleagues, and the community. All positions are armed, and employees must obtain and maintain the permits or licenses required by state regulations. Heavy lifting is required.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must have a valid, clean driver’s license.
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain active guard and firearm permits or licenses as required by state regulations.
- Strong customer-service skills.
- Effective in-person and radio communication skills.
- Willingness to operate large vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions.
- Able to perform heavy lifting of 50 pounds or more.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport valuables.
- Issue and receive confirmation receipts to verify each transfer.
- Interact professionally with customers and build rapport consistent with customer-service standards.
- Follow driver-safety practices in all weather and traffic conditions.
- Remain vigilant for the safety and security of customers, colleagues, and the community.
- Obtain and maintain the guard and firearm permits or licenses required by state regulations.
