Armed Security Driver/Messenger
About The Position
GardaWorld provides cash-management solutions across the cash supply chain, including secured transportation, cash management, vault processing, forecasting, ATM, and cash-recycler services. The company operates an extensive armored-vehicle fleet and processes, manages, and moves over $8 billion in cash daily while providing 24/7 client support and logistical expertise. The Armed Security Driver/Messenger safely and efficiently transports valuables in an armored truck. The role involves interacting professionally with customers, issuing and receiving confirmation receipts for transfers, and maintaining high standards of driver safety and vigilance in all weather conditions. Heavy lifting is required. All positions are armed, and employees must obtain and maintain the licenses required for their area.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years old.
- Have a valid, clean driver's license.
- Have or be able to obtain and maintain active guard and firearm permits or licenses as required by state regulations.
- Have strong customer-service skills.
- Communicate effectively in person and by radio.
- Be willing to operate large vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions.
- Be able to perform heavy lifting of 50 pounds or more.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport valuables in an armored truck.
- Interact professionally with customers and develop rapport consistent with customer-service standards.
- Issue and receive confirmation receipts to verify each transfer.
- Follow driver-safety requirements in all weather conditions.
- Remain vigilant to protect customers, colleagues, and the community.
- Obtain and maintain the licenses required to work as an armed armored-truck driver/messenger.
