GLOBAL OPS - Armed Security Agent - Manhattan
About The Position
GLOBAL OPS is seeking Armed Security Agents to support client sites across Long Island. This is an active, field-based role. Approximately 60 to 70 percent of your time will be spent outdoors and on your feet, conducting patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and responding to situations as they occur. This is not a static post. We are looking for individuals who are reliable and able to maintain a high level of awareness and professionalism throughout their shift. Requirements
- Active New York State Security Guard License
- Valid unrestricted concealed carry handgun license
- If Active Law Enforcement, valid LE branch ID
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military, or similar field
- Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods in all weather conditions
- Strong observation and communication skills
- Consistent and reliable work history
- High School diploma required
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
- Successful completion of all pre-employment screenings and training
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine patrols to maintain order and presence
- Monitor and control access to the property
- Identify and respond to suspicious activity
- Enforce site protocols and address unauthorized individuals
- Respond to alarms and on-site incidents
- Provide assistance to staff and visitors as needed
- Complete accurate reports of daily activity
