About The Position

Walden Security is seeking a motivated and vigilant Armed Security Professional to help ensure the safety and security of client premises, personnel, and assets. The role involves responding to incidents, conducting patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to deter potential threats, while following applicable laws, regulations, training, and company guidelines. Applicants must hold an active armed security license for Tennessee. Applications without a resume will not be considered. The position pays $20.75 per hour. Requirements

Active, valid armed security license for Tennessee.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong observational skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must pass a criminal background check and, if applicable, a motor vehicle record check.

Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and respond to security incidents.
Respond to alarms and calls for assistance, assess situations, and determine appropriate actions.
Enforce security policies and procedures and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Conduct security assessments and report safety hazards or security breaches.
Use firearms responsibly and only when necessary, in accordance with training and legal guidelines.
Maintain detailed logs of incidents, observations, and daily activities.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with employees and visitors.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with security practices.
