About The Position

National Eagle Security Inc. is seeking qualified Armed Officers with Baton & First Aid experience for a long-term assignment at CVS locations in Downey, CA, and Norwalk, CA. This is a W2 position with bi-weekly pay. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of armed officer experience and proximity to the Norwalk area. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, pass a pre-employment background check, and hold current Baton, First Aid, and CPR certifications. The position offers a firm pay rate of $22.50 per hour.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience as an ARMED security officer
  • Proof of authorization to work in the US
  • Current CA State Guard Card
  • Current Exposed Fire Arm Permit
  • Current Power to Arrest Permit
  • Must HAVE a working firearm, duty belt, & work boots
  • Adequate written and verbal English skills
  • Driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
  • Punctual, responsible, & professional at all times of work
  • Must be groomed, take pride in your appearance, follow uniform requirements at all times
  • Must have Android or iOS smart phone and the ability to use it for GPS, SMS, E-mail, & FREE mobile work app use
  • Basic computer skills
  • Security clearance required, or willing to obtain
  • Must be located in or around Norwalk, La Mirada, Santa Fe Springs, or within 5 miles
  • Must have current Baton permit
  • Must have current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Must be ready to start

Nice To Haves

  • Previous security experience preferred
  • Baton and First Aid & CPR licenses (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Be on time, reliable, respectful, professional, and a team player.
  • Conduct hourly patrols, incident reports, and activity reports at every shift.
  • Ensure that no unauthorized personnel gain access.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • End all shifts only when the relieving officer arrives for duty.
  • Use a personal smartphone to clock in/out using the NES application.
  • Maintain a polished, professional, and neat physical appearance.
  • Follow post orders instructed by National Eagle Security (NES).
  • Ensure the safety of all employees, visitors, and personnel on site.
