About The Position

Treston Security Services is hiring experienced Armed Nightlife Security Officers to work at a high-energy, LGBTQ-friendly nightlife venue in West Hollywood . This role requires officers who are confident, approachable, and skilled in de-escalation, crowd management, and access control . Officers must be comfortable working in fast-paced nightlife settings and interacting respectfully with diverse patrons.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older
Valid California BSIS Guard Card (Required)
Valid Exposed Firearms Permit (Required)
Prior nightlife, club, or bar security experience required
Strong de-escalation and communication skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-energy or tense situations
Must be LGBTQ+ friendly and respectful at all times
Must be able to work weekends and late-night shifts
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in crowded environments

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all patrons and staff
Monitor entrances, exits, and crowd flow within the venue
Check IDs to verify age and prevent underage entry
Identify and professionally de-escalate conflicts or disruptive behavior
Enforce venue rules and safety policies consistently and respectfully
Respond quickly and calmly to incidents or emergencies
Work closely with venue management and local law enforcement when necessary
Complete brief incident reports as required
