As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Clearance Required in Redmond, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout facilities, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and help to control entry to restricted operational and production areas within the location.
• Support security-related operations at an aero and defense location by remaining prepared to respond to emergencies, assist with evacuations, and/or coordinate with site contacts and first responders as needed.
