About The Position

DCS is currently working on a long-term project and is offering highly qualified candidates a place to cultivate their knowledge, build upon their experience, and use their expertise to make a real difference. This role involves Armed Security Access Control Support, requiring specific clearance and certification. All employees are required to perform duties at San Antonio, TX, and must be onsite 100% of the time, armed while on duty.

Requirements

Secret Clearance
LEVEL III: State Armed Guard Training and Certification with certificates uploaded in TOPS (must have pocket card in hand)
Secondary Use of Force Training
High School Diploma
Each FTE per location will have 3 years’ physical security experience.

Responsibilities

Provide visitor support using the visitor In/Out-processes for DISA staff, Guards, vendors, service providers and other visitor requesting access to a DISA Data Center
Validate visitor identification
Ensure visitation documents are complete
Capture Common Access Control (CAC) information from visitor
Verify visitor clearance level
Verify Visitor Access Request (VAR)
Ensure proper badging is provided per process
Notify/coordinate with visitor POC
Respond appropriately to routine requests and inquiries related to physical security/entry control policy and processes.
Perform physical security checks of the facility on a recurring basis.
Perform escort duties for visitors/vendors that are non-cleared and need assistance with visit logistics, as directed by the Site/Security.
