About The Position

As an Area Visual Manager for the Northeast, you will be responsible for managing the Customer Environment and delivering a consistent look and feel across all stores and spaces. You will contribute towards driving profitable sales in partnership with the Area Manager, store management and in-store visual support to ensure the brand image and excellent standards are represented in stores. You will ideally be based in New York or New Jersey, overseeing the Northeast region and reporting into the North American Visual Manager.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success leading visual merchandising initiatives across multiple retail locations, with extensive multi-site experience.
  • Based within the New York or New Jersey metropolitan area, with the ability to support regional retail operations.
  • Genuine passion for premium, luxury, and design-led products, coupled with a strong understanding of elevated brand presentation.
  • Highly customer-centric mindset, with the ability to interpret and execute merchandising strategies through the lens of the customer experience.
  • Agile and adaptable, able to navigate evolving business needs and shifting priorities with confidence.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and execution standards.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across stores, field teams, and corporate stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, capable of working independently while also collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the range planning process by preparing buy packs, historical analysis, lessons learnt, and size profiling to inform decision-making.
  • Maintaining merchandising systems in line with the critical path, ensuring accuracy across product data and purchase orders.
  • Liaising with suppliers to track deliveries and ensure timelines are met in line with critical path requirements.
  • Assisting with weekly trade preparation, analyzing performance and identifying opportunities to drive sales and improve stock efficiency.
  • Managing category WSSI’s, ensuring stock, markdown and future commitments are accurately reflected and aligned to targets.
  • Taking ownership of stock management activities including markdown set up, intake reviews and forecasting to optimize stock levels.
  • Producing regular sales, intake and stock forecasts, as well as managing reporting tools such as IAQ, attribute analysis and system alignment.
  • Supporting people development by coaching and guiding Trainee Merchandisers, while building strong cross-functional relationships across Buying, Merchandising and wider teams
