This role involves supervising and directing work assignments, managing cleaning staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction for buildings/properties in the service field. The position operates on the 2nd Shift, typically between 2:00 PM and 12:00 AM, and is a full-time role with a pay range of $18-20 per hour. Travel is required nightly to visit field accounts.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 2 to 3 years of related experience.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Demonstrated cleaning experience in all aspects of commercial cleaning.
  • Understanding of commercial cleaning methods, techniques, cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Adequate word processing and computer skills.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis and up to 75lbs occasionally (with assistance).
  • Ability to visually determine the neatness and accuracy of thoroughness of the work assigned.
  • Compliance with proper safety policies and procedures (e.g., when exposed to cleaning products).

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to read, write and speak Spanish.
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct work assignments for delegated buildings/properties in the service field.
  • Work with crews to fulfill the scope of work at a maximum performance level.
  • Manage and organize periodic work within the portfolio on time.
  • Maintain cleanliness of facilities by performing/demonstrating various cleaning duties and conducting building inspections.
  • Conduct monthly building inspections to assure high quality.
  • Participate in the start-up processes for new accounts.
  • Order janitorial supplies and tools/equipment for assigned accounts to maintain a balanced inventory.
  • Assist with addressing and resolving customer requests with guidance from the Account Manager or Director of Operations.
  • Work with the HR Team regularly to assist in new employee hiring/onboarding and training processes.
  • Act as front-line contact with field employees to coach and discipline where appropriate, with guidance from management and human resources.
  • Assist with conducting and organizing employee training programs for new and current staff.
  • Work closely with HR to achieve optimal performance from employees regarding training, worker’s compensation, recruiting, disciplinary action, etc.
  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures of the company are followed.
  • Report to work on time and work overtime as required.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record for business travel.
  • Follow KleenMark’s “Green” practices.
  • Travel nightly to visit field accounts.
