About The Position

The Area Supervisor is a Working Supervisor responsible for stores within a geographic area, requiring the individual to live in the assigned area. This role involves supervising field personnel and collaborating closely with Senior Managers and Executive staff. The primary focus is on ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining high standards of customer service, and fostering a positive and productive work environment across assigned store locations.

Requirements

  • Full knowledge of Microsoft, Excel, and Mobile Applications.
  • Experience with Mobile Timekeeping Applications.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working as a supervisor in the janitorial or cleaning industry.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Availability to travel.
  • Must be available to work overnights and on weekends.
  • Must be Able to lift, push, and pull a Maximum of 50 pounds.
  • Must be Able to Bend, Kneel, and Extend to Reach Required Areas.
  • Ensures all field personnel have received the required training.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual Spanish (Preferred, not a requirement)
  • Prior Supervisory and/or Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Clock in and out in every store before starting any job duties.
  • Ensure all employees are clocking in and out daily using the eHub (Timekeeping Portal).
  • Work in stores with the team when positions are missing personnel.
  • View store working hours throughout the day and ensure personnel are present at required hours.
  • Supervise all field personnel, providing a stimulating and supportive environment.
  • Create a harmonious working environment and motivate team members.
  • Build stronger customer and team relationships while maintaining and increasing customer service standards.
  • Retain and grow staff while driving team performance through training and development.
  • Effectively train all employees and Team Leads in their full job responsibilities at each assigned jobsite.
  • Ensure OSHA Safety is of utmost importance.
  • Take necessary actions to maintain staffing needs, including advertising, training, scheduling, and disciplinary measures.
  • Complete, submit, and communicate all necessary forms, reports, or paperwork for staffing, maintenance, and management of assigned job sites.
  • Recruit for open positions by posting, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
  • Coach, train, and appraise direct reports.
  • Retain staff at each store to contribute to company goals and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Oversee the completion and timely submission of all new hire employee paperwork to the corporate office.
  • Oversee and maintain a safe and orderly work environment.
  • Champion and model the company's values, code of conduct, and ethics.
  • Ensure field personnel follow company policies and procedures.
  • Understand, anticipate, and shape client expectations.
  • Visit a minimum of 3 stores daily and follow up on other stores if issues arise.
  • Visit job sites regularly (Daily-Weekly-Weekends) to meet with the team and the client.
  • Regularly communicate with store management on daily opportunities at each job site.
  • Verify completion of work assigned at each job site and ensure scope of work is fulfilled.
  • Monitor project activities and ensure completion within scheduled time and budget.
  • Manage operational performance using Team Software (E-HUB), overtime, headcount, and other metrics.
  • Perform site quality inspections using Client (SCOPES) standards.
  • Provide document performance forms to management (Client SCOPES).
  • Communicate time-sensitive issues, including work-related injuries, claims of discrimination, harassment, and other human resource matters.
  • Maintain, ensure, and request all necessary supplies, chemicals, and equipment for each job location.
  • Lead continuous improvement and cost reduction efforts.
  • Manage and maintain the purchase of supplies and equipment for resource optimization.
  • Attend daily, weekly, and quarterly planning and communication meetings.
  • Communicate with the Client store facilitator and Technician daily.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
