About The Position

The Area Superintendent oversees the profitable installation of project work by directing co-workers and interfacing with, coordinating, and directing other trades. The role is responsible for a specified area of a large project or an entire small or medium project. It is accountable for safety, planning, cost, and productivity while perpetuating an SQP (safe, high quality, and productive) culture, and maintaining the client relationship.

The position performs work in a safe, high-quality, and productive manner. Listed responsibilities describe the general nature and level of the work and are not exhaustive.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 5 years of related experience and/or training, or 10 years of related experience.
• Line and grade experience.
• Foreman experience.
• May require appropriate craft certifications.

• Plans work.
• Coordinates and executes work.
• Oversees the work of direct reports.
• Ensures a safe work environment.
• Participates in training and certifications.
• Directs co-workers and interfaces with, coordinates, and directs other trades.
• Oversees safety, planning, cost, and productivity for the assigned project area or project.
• Maintains the client relationship.
