Responsible for supervising and coordinating all on site field or shop operations while providing comprehensive onsite practical and technical direction pertaining to contract scope for all construction. Requirements

  • Masters or college/university graduate or equivalent combination of skills and experience generally required.
  • Expert in field, extensive relevant experience, 15+ years.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in planning, organizing and guiding extensive programs and activities of importance.
  • Demonstrates independent decision-making.
  • Great communication, negotiation and training skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage autonomous individuals, managers and diverse groups giving broader direction.
  • Prompt, punctual, and regular attendance during core business hours, in an office environment (not a telecommuting position), including a reliable means of transport to and from work.
  • Ability to occasionally to travel between corporate offices and jobsites within the Denver Metro Area, during work hours.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor compliance with corporate/project safety program requirements and interface with Safety Managers.
  • Adhere to project schedule and orchestrate timely and quality project completion within budget.
  • Provide pertinent information and trade specific information to the GC in the development of the project schedule.
  • Cooperate with project management and maintain open lines of communication regarding matters concerning project budget, productivity, change orders, quality control and customer satisfaction.
  • Execute, supervise and maintain CPMI.
  • Lead daily and weekly scope of work activities.
  • Requisition, maintain and account for tools, materials and equipment.
  • Monitor progress, performance and quality of work for subcontractors and major equipment suppliers.
  • Manage book of business with Operations Managers with multiple projects.
  • Constant collaboration with Operations and GC’s.
  • Ensure required permits and/or licenses are obtained and posted.
  • Coordinate required jurisdictional inspections.
  • Provide required training, mentoring, coaching and leadership for field personnel.
  • Day-to-day coordination of field/shop work force with Labor Resources.
  • Data entry and maintenance for field work force employee tracking.
  • Select field force staff for new projects.
  • Coordinate scheduling of specialty crews (i.e., underground and mechanical room piping).
