About The Position

This position will be responsible for managing the cleaning and sanitizing over multiple Big Bird BU locations and responsible for the Safe, clean and on -time delivery at each location to maintain conformance to USDA standards within a schedule to ensure maximum operating time. Works with the director to develop plans as needed to address concerns. The selected candidate will be located at or live by any of these Pilgrim's Big Bird facilities – Nacogdoches, TX, Mt. Pleasant, TX, Broadway, VA, Douglas, GA, Sumter, SC, or Marshville, NC. There is one opening and it is NOT a remote position!

Requirements

• 5 years Sanitation experience in a related field.
• Computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external partners.
• Ability to work other days/hours as needed.
• Must be willing to travel as needed to effectively perform the duties of the position.
• High School Diploma/GED required.

Nice To Haves

• 5 years supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of the sanitation department s throughout the Big Bird BU locations .
• Complies with, understands and enforces all company policies and standards.
• Supervises, trains and develops sanitation employees.
• Assists in performing regular housekeeping audits.
• Develops sanitation procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), USDA and FDA regulations for all sanitation tasks.
• Maintains GMP provisions and monitors employee practices that relate to cleanliness, sanitation and pest control.
• Conducts safety training to comply with OSHA regulations and company standards.
• Develops and implements new methods, procedures and systems to improve sanitation performance.
• Maintains all pertinent records, reports and other paperwork as needed.
• Partners with production and maintenance resources to meet plant objectives.

• Base Salary range of $ 117,176 - $1 42,369.20
