About The Position

Western Funding, a dynamic and fast-growing auto finance company, is seeking Area Sales Managers with the vision and dedication to assist dealer partners throughout North America. As a subsidiary of Westlake Financial Services, Western Funding provides automobile financing to borrowers with limited access to traditional credit. The Area Sales Manager will partner with dealers to increase funded deals, identify and onboard new dealers, and manage growth within their assigned region. This role requires a consultative sales and management approach, focusing on building strong relationships with dealers to help their businesses grow. This is a full-time, remote position reporting to Regional Sales Managers, requiring candidates to be comfortable working remotely and on the road.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• High School diploma or equivalent (required).
• Strong knowledge of Automotive, Finance, and Sales.
• Previous experience in the Financial Services Sector or within a Car Dealership.
• 1-2 years of previous experience in a challenging sales role with a proven track record of success.
• Clear and effective presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of warm calling, appointment setting, and sales techniques.
• Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technology.
• Results Orientation: getting things done in alignment with Company objectives.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Comfortable traveling up to 75% of the time.
• A valid driver's license is required for this position, as driving is an essential function.

Nice To Haves

• College degree or equivalent work experience (preferred).
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Present and communicate company products and services to all levels of management within Independent and Franchise Dealerships in person.
• Identify sales prospects and contact assigned accounts.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals from telephone calls for Independent and Franchise dealers.
• Develop, maintain, and grow current and potential dealer partners within the Independent and Franchise Dealer communities.
• Maintain constant and effective communication, via phone calls or in person, with dealer partners on current programs.
• Train dealers in Western Funding, including proper documentation needed for fast funding of contracts.
